For Whom:

I designed this course for parents raising children (of all ages) on the spectrum who are verbal and high-functioning, as well as educators who are influencing the development of neurodiverse children, teenagers, and young adults. The contents of the course may speak to the needs of those who are dealing with issues such as OCD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression, all of which often have brain/gut inflammation in common.

Learning Objectives:

In this course, based on content from my book Eco-Intelligent Remedies for Autism Spectrum that Think Outside the Box, you are introduced to the premise for eco-intelligent living, a way of living that brings ecological awareness and personal well-being together. It’s about making choices—big or small—that support your and your child’s healthyour home environmentand the planet at the same time. It’s the opposite of “eco-perfectionism.” It’s simply living with conscious awareness and intentionality, and recognizing that with the right kind of support, your child can learn to thrive. The course is not a substitute for doctors or other health professionals. However, it is designed to empower YOU to draw on Mother Nature’s holistic health wisdom for nurturing your child’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Educational Tools Include:

  • 21 Mini Videos: These introduce the 21 categories of remedies that are featured in my book. (The book itself features over 200 self-help remedies that are inspired by nature and rooted in love.)
  • Book Chapters in PDF format: You’ll understand how the environments we create—what we eat, what we buy, how we clean, the medicine we use, and how we relate to nature—directly influence our children’s physical, mental, emotional, and ecological health.
  • 21 Educational Videos: These videos (15-35 minutes in length) take a deep dive into health topics that will empower you to be a confident caregiver, while you nurture your child’s well-being.

Additional Educational Tools Include:

Bonus: 14 Ready-Made Eco-Mentoring Scripts are designed to help you support your child’s unique journey, because every step forward matters! Guide them in understanding autism, cultivating self-care skills, and recognizing both their potential and their spiritual role as change agents.

Praise for the Eco-Intelligent Remedies for Autism Course

In her book and multimedia course content, Candia presents some very thought-provoking questions about Autism and what its rise in prevalence means. “Is autism calling us to reconnect with nature?” “Is it calling us to meet the evolving needs of our children?” Candia presents a fresh new perspective on the possibilities for dealing with autism that guide parents and caregivers to explore holistic lifestyle practices that “think outside the box.” She is, without a doubt, a trailblazer who encourages us to see beyond the typical treatment interventions, and she offers a compassionate and loving perspective on viewing children with autism as ‘more than’ rather than ‘less than.” -Connie Hammer, MSW & PCI Certified Parent Coach and Founder of Progressive Parent, LLC.
