NOURISHING NEURODIVERSITY RECIPE BUNDLE

Simple, Nourishing Foods that Support Calm and Comfort, One Meal at a Time

“Did you know, that when you (or you and your neuro-diverse child) invest a little time each day in preparing health-giving foods, you’re not just feeding your bodies, –you’re helping to create a foundation for regulation, comfort, and well-being that can make everyday life feel more manageable and supportive?” –Candia Lea

Course Description:

Children on the autism spectrum often see and feel the world more intensely, and so do those who are raising them or influencing their health and development. Could this be you? Nourishing foods can help support steadier energy, calmer moods, and clearer focus. Because many processed foods can contribute to inflammation or sensory overload, offering fresh, wholesome meals becomes a simple but powerful form of daily care!

Educational Tools Included:

A 4- Part Podcast: In this podcast, my son and I explore the role of food and nutritional supplements in managing the symptoms of OCD, which he developed as a young boy. If you’re raising a child with any kind of neurological issue that causes discomfort, you can learn something from this talk, because it stresses the importance of eating a low-inflammation diet. Inflammation in the gut and brain are known to cause neurological imbalances. These imbalances can then produce conditions such as anxiety, depression, tics, ADHD, and behavioral challenges and/or learning challenges.

Since then, many other people have tried to imitate her recipes. Her healthy meals have made a world a difference for me as I raise my special needs child, and I’m happy that my son enjoys many of them. He’s learning valuable information from her graphics, too, which I post on the door of my refrigerator.” – N. Grayson
